1. Overview and Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to 02H Swim School. The terms "we", "us", and "our" refer to 02H Swim School. We offer this website, 02hswimschool-singapore.com (the "Site"), and our swimming lesson services (the "Services") conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, and policies stated here.
By visiting our Site or registering for our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. They apply to all users, including parents, guardians, students, and website visitors. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to all the terms, you may not use our Services. We reserve the right to update these Terms by posting changes to our website, and it is your responsibility to check this page periodically.
2. Fees and Payment
- All lesson fees must be paid in full on a 10 session basis before the term begins.
- Failure to pay by the stipulated due date may result in forfeiture of your placement for the upcoming term.
- Upon commencement of a term, all fees paid are strictly non refundable. Any cancellation must be mutually agreed.
- We reserve the right to amend our fees and promotional packages at any time. Please contact us for the most current information.
3. Lesson Policies
- Schedule and cancellations: we operate year round, including public holidays. If a student or instructor cannot attend a scheduled lesson, a minimum of two weeks advance notice is required.
- Package validity: all 10 session packages must be completed within 13 weeks of the first lesson. Sessions not completed within this period will be forfeited without a refund.
- Medical absences: a lesson can be rescheduled upon submission of a valid medical certificate.
- Inclement weather: for safety, lessons are cancelled during heavy rain or lightning, and will be rescheduled.
- Relief instructors: we may assign a relief instructor when the regular instructor is unavailable. The lesson will proceed and be charged as scheduled.
- Student grouping: for group classes, students are placed by age and ability. We may regroup students according to progress to maintain an optimal learning environment.
4. General and Safety Policies
- All students and accompanying adults must wear appropriate swim attire.
- Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children before and after lessons. Our coaches are responsible for students during the lesson itself.
- 02H Swim School is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings.
- We may photograph or record classes for training, publicity, and promotional purposes. If you have concerns, please inform us in writing.
5. Waiver and Release of Liability
By participating in any lessons, events, or activities (the "Activities") conducted by 02H Swim School, you acknowledge and agree, on behalf of yourself and your child or ward (the "Student"), to the following:
- Assumption of risk: you understand that swimming activities involve inherent risks, including physical injury and, in rare cases, more serious harm. You and the Student voluntarily assume all known and unknown risks associated with the Activities.
- Medical fitness: you confirm the Student is physically and medically fit to participate, and you agree to declare any pre existing medical conditions in writing prior to the first lesson.
- Release of liability: you agree that 02H Swim School and its owners, instructors, employees, and agents shall not be held liable for any personal injury, property damage, or loss arising directly or indirectly from participation in the Activities.
- Indemnification: you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the relevant parties from any claims, demands, damages, or liabilities arising from the Student's participation in the Activities.
6. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
